I'm going to be going to the Art Institute of Colorado which is considered a technical college, and it consists of 2000 students altogether. Are technical colleges generally more diffcult than regular state universities? Or is it the same or easier? Or just different in general?

This question is too general. Some technical schools can be very difficult especially in technical and nursing fields. Some universities are difficult and some are an extension of high school. I do not know about your particular school, you can go to different websites and see how students rate the school. For instance Facebook, Myspace, etc.
